Abstract
The article analyses the relationship between European and Italian law on leniency programmes, starting with an examination of the case law of the Court of Justice and administrative courts on this topic. In particular, the paper aims to demonstrate the relevant derogations introduced by European law from Italian common principles of law and rules on administrative procedures regulated by Law no. 241/1990.
